I should add, the script and the generated metadata thing are totally unrelated. I included the script with the SP because I got it from a contributor, it was useful, I ended up using it heavily here at OSU to generate metadata for all my locally registered SPs, and I had no other place to include it, so I just threw it in. It has nothing really to do with the SP (it would be more useful for an SP to have a script that generates IdP metadata, and this one doesn't.)
