Not sure what part of the wiki you've read so far, so I still
reference the wiki:
https://wiki.shibboleth.net/confluence/display/CONCEPT/Home

Other than that, replace "Shibboleth" with "SAML" and "WebSSO" in your
searches and most the available material (from presentations, youtube
videos and whatnot) will likely also apply to Shibboleth.

If you ask specific questions we can also provide more specific pointers.
