I don't know the answer to your question but running a test/qa/dev
version of your IDP, reloading the resolver /there/ and using aacli
/there/ isn't useless, I'd say.
Other than that I agree that excercizing the resolver or filter before
it even becomes active seems like a neat thing to have. Personally
I've never used the aacli, not in many years at least.
