SHA 256

To get my shibboleth SP v243 to authenticate with an ADFS IDP, the hashing
algorithm on the IDP had to be set to to SHA1. I was using openssl v0.9.7d
on Solaris. I am upgrading to openssl 1.0.2d and want to know if this user
was able to set the algorithm to sha256 without any other setting changes on
the IDP to connect to an SP.

I thought I remember reading a post by Scott that said the reason the IDP
had to be set to sha1 was that the 0.9.7d library only supported sha1.

I can open a new post but this one seemed related.

Will Shibboleth SP v2.4.3 and openssl v1.0.2d work with a sha256 hashing
algorithm on an adfs IDP, which previously had worked with sha1 please.

Thank you very much.
