If you are having problems downloading the metadata in your IdP, one thing 
to check is how much memory you are allowing java to use. Our IdP servers 
were having problems updating the metadata, and it turned out the metadata 
had got too large and the previously recommended 512M was no longer 
enough - I belive 1024M is now the recommended java size in such cases.
