Creating an XMLObject

Hello,

Is there an example of reading a string containing XML into a
org.opensaml.core.xml.XMLObject? I've spent a few hours in the javadocs. I
found:

static XMLObject
unmarshallFromInputStream(net.shibboleth.utilities.java.support.xml.ParserPool,
InputStream)

But I'm not sure whether this is the right method and I couldn't figure out
how to create a ParserPool.

Just FYI, I am trying to create an XMLObjectAttributeValue
