That's just documentation in another form, so I don't argue with that idea. I'm just saying what's in the distribution isn't targeted at that.
The main reason I haven't taken the time to do that, FWIW, is that Jetty 9.2 and 9.3 are basically different products when it comes to this. That sucks, but it froze any interest I had in documenting 9.2 to that degree. I was waiting for 9.3 to settle and for all the problems to get dealt with, which I think is mostly the case now.
I'm also working on testing the behavior of the TLS stack in it and with Java 8 and there are some interop issues there with older SPs (I think). Once I know what they are, I can put a stake in the ground.
