Converting from Linux to Windows

Hello,

Has anyone converted their Shibboleth IDP installation from Linux to Windows?

My current installation is running fine on Shibboleth 2.x with SLES 11, but the requirements for upgrading to Shibboleth 3.x, seems to suggest a much more sustainable support path on a Windows platform.

Can the Shibboleth IDP 3.x Windows installation use Linux IDP 2.x files as a source for upgrading?
