No I have not .. but this can be done with standard of the shelf CAS and OOB Shib-SP [1].

What are your goals in this venture? The Shibboleth IdP works fine when using CAS as the authentication portion. There 
is no harm in leaving your CAS presence intact and integrating the IdP this way.
