Federated SharePoint via ActiveShareFS

Hi List:

Has anyone here used the following to Federate SharePoint?

Scenario:
- We have SharePoint and would like to open-up to other organizations
(where they have Shibboleth or ADFS)

- Home users will continue to access SharePont via AD (no ADFS will be
available on the local AD).

- We have Shibboleth but don't expect to use it for SharePoint (i.e. local
users will continue to access via AD). Only remote users will access
SharePoint via Shibboleth.
