Timeframe for inclusion of OpenID Connect?

I know that Unicon / UChicago are working on adding OIDC functionality to
IdP 3.x

Is there a timeframe for when that might be available?  For some reason, I
though it was going to be part of the 3.2.x release, but at IIW, someone
told me that it was more likely to be a 3.3 or 3.4 feature.
