Senthil,

You probably have a rule in place that is accidentally triggering Shibboleth protection for the /Shibboleth.sso path.

Hello,
We are using SP version 2.5.4 on Windows IIS 7.0. When accessing the standard URLs that are configured in the SP, such as the /Shibboleth.sso/Metadata or the /Shibboleth.sso/Status URLs, it takes us to the IDP to login page instead of generating the SP Metadata or displaying the Status. Any pointers on what could be the issue here.
