Yes, the SP installs a custom libcurl-based implementation to Xerces to 
implement parsing of HTTP resources, among other reasons to support 
caching headers. Whether it specifically will break apart from the warning 
message is a different matter, but the NSS version is opaque to the SP and 
it won't have any control over things like SSL versions used.
