Well, hopefully it's obvious, but you have to stop and restart the IdP
for the new files to take effect.

Not that I'm aware of.  Of course, make sure that you putting them in
the right place for the actual JDK/JRE that is actually running the IdP
(if you have multiple copies of Java).
