Shibboleth 2.5.4-3.1 and Apache 2.4 on Amazon Linux AMI

Ok, I tried this before, but I see I used it wrong. I got 2.5.4-3.1 built
using the command
rpmbuild --rebuild --without builtinapache shibboleth-2.5.4-3.1.src.rpm
Yeah, I don't know why I tried to use that as a configure option before.
It's pretty straight forward...
mod_shib_24.so got created, so I'm happy. Thank you for your help.
What do I miss without the built-in Apache build option? From what I can
see online, without it the already present Apache configuration files won't
be automatically updated. Is that all?
