JIRA + AJP + REMOTE_USER - how do I get rid of the login screen?

Or even start with making sure REMOTE_USER is set within httpd,
e.g. by checking it is set in entries in your httpd's access log.
Next you could write a small JSP file to output
request.getRemoteUser()
