IdP 3.1 - metadata config not working

That did it Ian, thanks - and I have a 17mb file in my /metadata folder.
I've re-enabled the signing check thing, and that isn't producing errors (think I disabled it initially to eliminate it as an error cause).

However, now when I go to https://localhost/idp/status (on a browser on the IdP server itself) I don't get the debug information anymore, just the HTML complaining about an uncaught exception. This is what I get in the error logs:

2015-03-13 12:53:48,289 - ERROR [org.apache.velocity:96] - ResourceManager : unable to find resource 'status.vm' in any resource loader.
2015-03-13 12:53:48,850 - ERROR [net.shibboleth.idp.profile:-2] - Uncaught runtime exception
java.lang.NullPointerException: null

The status page was working before on the clean install. The only config change has been dropping in the old attribute-filter / resolver files and this metadata entry.

Sorry, I meant this:

<MetadataFilter xsi:type="RequiredValidUntil" maxValidityInterval="P30D"/>

This is what I have in my own deployment, and is the UKf recommendation.
