shibsp::ConfigurationException error

I've read the link you provided, and its still not clicking for me. =(
 I've copied the downloaded MD into a file named 'metadata.xml' inside
/opt/shibboleth-idp/metadata/

Here is whats been edited in my shibboleth2.xml on the SP box.
 <SSO entityID="https://idphostip/idp/shibboleth">
              SAML2 SAML1
            </SSO>

Do I need to set the
backFilePath="/opt/shibboleth-idp/metadata/metadata.xml"   ??

<MetadataProvider type="XML" uri="http://idphostip/idp/profile/Metadata/SAML"
              backingFilePath="federation-metadata.xml" reloadInterval="7200">
