Not today. It is 95% xmllint, but there are a couple other checks that could fail.

The generic feature request is good. We should be able to expose a little more detail, but it will be parsing errors in many cases, so it won't always have obvious resolutions.

This just came up as a feature request for the Installfest series as well. That uses a version of the same script, so +1.  I don't know how fast it will become real.
