Mike,
We had been in contact with the organization that provides ILLiad to our library some time back (~ a year ago), and we were told that the way to do this is to pay for their EZProxy service, which they can easilly Shibbolize on their end. EZProxy acts as reverse proxy that sits between the library patrons and the actual ILLiad service, from what I understood at the time.
Thanks,

Subject: Configuring ILLiad for Shibboleth
Hello all,
This is a bit orthogonal I'm sure, but I've been asked by one of our campuses for
assistance with configuring ILLiad to use Shib. Googling has resulted in lots of
info, but I think a recipe will be necessary for them. If such a recipe exists, please
let me know.
Thanks,
Michael Hodges
