Whatever version the JVM is (not 1.5, as Scott said), with RHEL
subscriptions you also get Oracle JVMs in a seperate RHN channel,
IIRC. So I'd use that, and I wouldn't start a new deployment on Java
7, as others have also stated.
(And despite contrasting recommendations following yesterdays
discovery of the weird TLS/DNS behaviour of the new patch level JVM
updates, I'd rather keep the JVM current as much as possible,
i.e. update early and often on a test system, then apply to prod.)
Painfully unoriginal advice, I know.
