Clustering IdPv3 and SAML 1 attribute query

I've been reading the page on IdPv3 clustering:

and I see that it says that "SAML 1.1 artifact use is not supported if 
more than one node is deployed, because that requires a global store 
accessible to all nodes".

It doesn't say anything about SAML 1 attribute query, though. Is this 
statement also true for SAML 1 attribute query?
