I'm referring to SFA solutions that combine with passwords they have nothing to do with to produce MFA, which is not the same as a MFA product. My opinions on that are pretty well known.
It's much easier to build a product that implements one factor than to build one that implements two, and if the market is content to let you call that MFA, it's pretty logical what you'd do.
