IdP 3: Support for SHA-512 signed Assertions

I have been working to stand up an instance of Shibboleth for testing a
software product.  Our customers want us to support IdP signatures signed
with SHA-512.  I see that out of the box (MSI installer), IdP 3 supports
SHA-256.  Is there support for SHA512, and if so, how do I enable it?
