Hmm, I see your point. That seems off, it shouldn't be trying to parse it as a regex. Not sure what it's doing there. Would be worth filing a bug for follow up.

Well, not with false, obviously, but that's also not a regex. They mean ^(.)+\.pccc\.edu$
