Whether it's the back button or a bookmark or any of a number of possible causes, it's all essentially the same in the end, which is why it's routed to the error page message that it is.

I was planning to get a commented out logback filter into the configuration that will hide those entries once people are in production and understand the situation.

I'm not sure what you would expect the web server logs to reveal though.
