Dangling meta character in upload metadata reported by TestShib near *.pccc.edu

Uploading some basic SP metadata generated by /Shibboleth.sso/Metadata I'm
seeing this error in the TestShib IdP log

[org.opensaml.saml2.metadata.provider.AbstractReloadingMetadataProvider:307]
- Unable to unmarshall metadata
org.opensaml.xml.io.UnmarshallingException:
java.util.regex.PatternSyntaxException: Dangling meta character '*' near
index 0
*.pccc.edu

My metadata doesn't contain this string. The entityID in the metadata does
end up in the TestShib entity listing (
https://www.testshib.org/entities.html), but if I attempt authorization I
get "SAML 2 SSO profile is not configured for relying party" in the IdP log
and other errors which suggest the metadata did not get loaded properly.

Given my metadata doesn't reference pccc.edu, and I've nothing to do with
that institution, I've reached a dead end. A problem with TestShib perhaps?
