Ant error with IDP 3.0 install

While running bin/install.sh, I got this:

[root at shibber shibboleth-identity-provider-3.0.0-tmp]# ./bin/install.sh
Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.tools.ant.Main

I’m on a CentOS 6.5 server, and ant appears to be installed correctly.  The JAVA_HOME and ANT_HOME variables are also set to reasonable values.
[root at shibber shibboleth-identity-provider-3.0.0-tmp]# echo $JAVA_HOME
/usr/java/latest
[root at shibber shibboleth-identity-provider-3.0.0-tmp]# echo $ANT_HOME
/opt/apache-ant-1.9.4
[root at shibber shibboleth-identity-provider-3.0.0-tmp]# ant -version
Apache Ant(TM) version 1.9.4 compiled on April 29 2014

Any idea what could be wrong?
