But as I said, I think you have to be pretty specific about the use case. Often people ask how to control which of two domains gets used based on the SP, for example, which is a pretty different scenario.

As a quick point, using the JAAS login flow alternative makes it pretty straightforward to cascade the domains if that's the goal.
