ldap.properties in version 3

I have just setup a test Idp using version 3 running on windows 7 Ent 32bit
with Java 8u31 using the windows installer and jetty.
My LDAP setup needs to connect to 2 windows AD domains.
I know how to do this in login.config on version 2 but cannot find any help
with settings in ldap.properties on version 3
