I don't understand, how the second SP (service SP) know the user behind the first SP (application SP) ?

For the SP, set ECP="true" on the SSO element in shibboleth2.xml

For the IDP, protect its ECP endpoint with HTTP Basic Auth (client certs being the alternative).

That's basically it.
