Supported credential types

Q: Which (Spring) credential formats/factories are supported for IdP 3 in credentials.xml?

Poked around the wiki and source some and so far see BasicX509CredentialFactoryBean and maybe a few hints in the system/conf XML files. I ask, because I have a legacy integration using 'raw' private and public DSA keys for signing. I'm trying to evaluate my (non-legacy relying-party.xml) options before either re-keying the integration to use a certificate to house the public key or launching into trial and error.
