Profile configuration

Hi,
  signAssertions, signResponses, signRequests, encryptAssertions attributes of the profile configurations used to take one of the values of "never", "conditional" and "always" in v2.  In v3 the class doc shows an argument of a Predicate.  In the xml, setting a "true" or "false" value seems to work.  Can a predicate be set using a referenced bean?  Can you provide an example offsetting a predicate in the xml please?
