I'm trying to work with OnBase to configure SSO.

I told them the EPPN is our username and sent them the EPPN definition from the attribute resolver file and
they sent the below back.. Does anyone know what they mean by

... "we need the variable that'll hold the SAML response and the claim type that'll hold the user's name."

Again, the "variable" that will hold our user name is simply the EPPN.. I don't know what they mean by "claim"?
I think this is an ADFS thing ?

thanks,

Robert

Hello All:

I have received the information from our Global Cloud Services/DEV/QA Team. Below is what they had to say. I apologize for all the back and forth. I hope this helps. If it does not we may want to schedule a call and get our team back on to explain.

So for someone who knows SAML very well:

"the OnBase Web Server supports IdP initiated authentication. We need to know the name of the variable you'll be sending the SAML Response in, and the claim that will hold the user name."

In more straight forward terms:

"we need the variable that'll hold the SAML response and the claim type that'll hold the user's name."
