You can add anything you like to the response or assertion, but that's 
either adding attributes (obvious) or writing a lot of code. If you mean 
adding something to the binding that isn't in the XML, you can choose to 
do anything you want, but it's not allowed in SAML and it will be ignored 
by the SP.
