Question on ValidUntil attribute in Metadata

Scott and Tom,

That is what I thought.... just making sure that the metadata is not being used.  When I saw the line in the log

12:02:19.975 - WARN [org.opensaml.saml2.metadata.provider.AbstractReloadingMetadataProvider:374] - Entire metadata document from '/PathToFile/Filename.xml' was expired at time of loading, existing metadata retained

It sounded like it was using some older version of metadata.

It's got no metadata to use. You told it not to failFast and there's no fall back to load, so it's not loading anything.
