SHA-1 Certificate in Metadata

Hello we are an SP and instead of using the shibboleth keygen utility to
generate keys for our metadata we have been using the same key as our ssl
certificate for the domain it is a part of. In the past those have been
encrypted with the standard sha-1 and provided to our IDPs accordingly. We
have updated our ssl certificates to no longer use sha-1, but we're
wondering if Google Chrome sunsetting sha-1 will affect the current metadata
files that we have provided to our users or if those need to be updated to
no longer use sha-1 also?

Thanks,
Kyle
