Not only does this not belong here, it's also not true (which is why I
bother to reply here).

The algorithm for determining the "winning" registrar isn't even
formalized or published for the eduGAIN aggregate, and there is no
such "haste", let alone "race".

Interfederation does not preclude preferring your locally registered
entities over identically named entities from other registrars.

Having more than one copy of metadata available with the same entityID
is not a feature interfederation will give you, ergo preventing that
from happending (to protect your consistuency from the issues
mentioned in that thread) is not limiting the usefulness of
Interfederation one bit.
