Although I am positive that I did shutdown the old IP, I took a good look
at the logs at the new IP and I can only see hits in my 8443 port, but only
that. No hits on my 443, bingo!
So you folks must be right, there can be no other explanation than that the
old IdP somehow remained active and issued artifacts unknown to the new
one.
I'll probably dig into how I did the jail shutdown of the old IdP, maybe I
did something wrong.
