change IdP IP address and unknown artifact

Hello all,

Trying to change my IdP's IP address, getting errors of type:

ERROR
[edu.internet2.middleware.shibboleth.idp.profile.saml2.ArtifactResolution:115]
-  Unknown artifact "foo" from relying party "bar"

and then

ERROR
[edu.internet2.middleware.shibboleth.common.profile.ProfileRequestDispatcherServlet:88]
- Error occurred while processing request
java.lang.NullPointerException: null

in my idp-process.log. Since I was under the impression that artifacts are
generally short lived entities, I cannot easily explain this.

Anyone bumped encountered something like that before?

I found an older message with these exact messages in the mailing list, but
in that case the problem went away by itself. In my case, I see it even
when trying with a "clean" browser.
