I don't have any personal stake in that working or anything, but it leads 
to questions and confused people, so point being it's just more expensive 
to support SPNEGO as a mechanism for us as a project than anything else we 
support by an order of magnitude. Even certificates really, which I added 
into 3.0. When you've managed to reach "harder to configure than 
certificates", you're really lapping the field.
