SAML Delegation with Shibboleth

Just curious... Has the SAML Delegation proposal progressed with Shibboleth
or is it still supported via the means specified at
https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/ShibuPortal/Home

I am working on a delegation use-case and any information pertaining to how
or if Shibboleth supports the SAML Delegation would be highly appreciated.
