webservice call

Hi,

I have setup a SP on my application which connects to a remote hosted IDP
and provides authentication details to my webapp.
I know have few web services in my application and users are using that to
query my application.
Now since I am using shibboleth to authentication their regular httpclient
appi is not being able to work fine now.
Is there any way where I can authenticate fine using a webservice call as
well?
