case insensitive AttributeValueRegex permit value rules?

Is it possible to use a case insensitive match when defining
a AttributeValueRegex policy requirement rule?

(I've tried both the "caseSensitive" flag used with the "regular expression
based split attribute definition", and the ignoreCase flag from the
"AttributeValue attribute filter matching rule", and neither usage is
accepted)
