Yes.

The example metadata generated at /Shibboleth.sso/Metadata will include
all the various endpoints involved, and without knowing anything about the
intentions, I can only say that given a specific binding, that will tell
you what the right path is to add to the hostname.

The SAML 2 POST binding is probably what's desired,
/Shibboleth.sso/SAML2/POST (going from memory).
