I don’t know perhaps.. I believe you are able to run multiple mappings regardless. However, you’d probably have a tough time getting an SP to have a bunch of odd ball entries in their attribute-map just for you.

Does your institution hold access to that urn space?
If not I think you need to look at your problem a bit differently.
Should you continue propegating inconsistancies from your IdP?
Or should you correct the mistake and begin using the standards in place to facilitate proper use of the exchange.
The second option should make your life much easier in the future.
