Shibboleth IdP and Cisco Registered Envelope Service (CRES)

We've just gotten our Cisco Webex login working with our Shibboleth IDP.   The admin page for Webex creates a metadata file to use (although the rest of getting it to work was more difficult).
We have had to create metadata though for other vendors who don't provide it.  We've just copied another metadata file for a similar site and changed all the pertinent values.

Hi,

  I'm looking for anyone that has gone through the experience of integration of Cisco's CRES with a Shibboleth IdP.  They seem to only provide a signing cert to download but no metadata, and integrating with an SP that does not provide metadata is a new concept for me.  The way I understand it is that the metadata is what makes SAML work.  Has anyone had to manually create the SP's metadata?
