Just to report back for the list and the archive:

I'm working with Liam on this offline.  Right now the stumbling block is that he is running Java6 and I have been looking specifically at running Rhino under java 8.  So my jars, compiled under java 7) are too modern for his jvm.

We'll continue to look at this and if/when there is more to report I'll get back to this list.
