Turning off attribute query and artifact resolution endpoints

It's interesting - I did comment out the profile configurations from the
DefaultRelyingParty element. I wonder if that actually turned them off
though, based on this comment in relying-party.xml:

that is, the values that would be in effect if those attributes were not present.
We list them here so that people are aware of them (since they seem reluctant to

Does commenting out the profile really turn it off or just set it back to
defaults?
