Gartner ?

 It appears someone in our organization wants to start using
out SSO to authenticate/authorize for access to Gartner.

 From what little I have seen so far, it appears that Gartner is
one that wants the IDP to make all authentication/authorization
decisions. They also seem to want to use e-mail as a unique identifier.

 Has anyone out there had experience with setting up their Shib IDP to
work with Gartner ?
